Can it help me?

Some of the problems I have experience of helping with include:

  • Feelings of stress or anxiety or sometimes feeling overwhelmed
  • Difficulties with starting, sustaining or finishing relationships
  • Career and work-related problems
  • Coming to terms with losses such as bereavement, divorce or redundancy
  • Family difficulties, conflicts and crises
  • Depression
  • Sexuality and sexual worries
  • Obsessional, angry or troubling thoughts
  • Lack of confidence or self-esteem

My main training is in psychodynamic psychotherapy but I have also trained in very contemporary approaches such as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing). You can contact me without needing a referral from your GP, and your communication will be taken seriously, dealt with promptly, and kept confidential.

Therapy works best whenever there is
sufficient time to consider the reasons
    behind whatever is troubling you.
However, if you need more urgent help
I would recommend you contact your
GP, NHS Direct, or the Samaritans.
